One year ago today this little lady made me a momma, it was certainly one of the best days of my life (in second place is the day I married her daddy)! I am so very thankful and blessed to be her mother, to watch her grow into the beautiful person she is, and take part in her life. This past year has been exhausting, sleepless, overwhelming, FUN, joyful, exciting, and most importantly filled with more love than I thought was ever possible. We started to refer to this year as being the "year of the owl," and it fits her so well. She is my nosey night owl, she gets it honestly. She has us wrapped around her little fingers (rightfully so) and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love waking up every morning to see her smiling face and cubby cheeks. I look forward to nap and bedtime, not for the quiet (ok maybe a little), but for the snuggles and cooing that I know will go away all too fast. I can't believe a whole year has passed, people say it, but time really does fly. Please slow down baby girl, I can't get enough of your giggles, sweetness, and sass.
