Wishing my senior pictures looked more like this! Liz rocked her senior session and picked some awesome looks that she absolutely owned! It was an absolute joy to get to know and work with her! Such a natural, fun, smart, confident, and beautiful person inside and out. Liz, I wish you a wonderful senior year and volleyball season! You with out a doubt will go on to do big things!
Oh the places she'll go! This adorable family of three just celebrated Quinn's first birthday, isn't she gorgeous! Happy Birthday sweet girl! It was a joy to capture their love for one another and play with Miss Quinn. I wish Dan and Erin luck in telling this sweet face "no" in the near future. She kept resting her little hand on mom and dads during family shots and it just melted my heart each time. Nothing sweeter than seeing your little ones hands and fingers reaching for you and hanging on! Que the baby talk and heart swells! <3
Who can resist a good sugar rush? I love seeing littles react to their smash cake. Some dig right in and some hate the mess! Even better is the look they sometimes give their parents like "Is this a joke, can I really eat it?" Haha, Celia definitely gave the look. Her two older brothers were so good about holding off, but we chuckled when were told they could dig in after she was done. What do you think Celia thought? As per usual, I had a wonderful time capturing this beautiful and sweet family. These boys are smitten with their little sis and their game of peek a boo will melt your heart! Celia has some awesome body guards, play mates, and best friends. Can't believe she is already ONE. Time needs to slow down! Right before three become four.... Congratulations Trout family, I am over the moon for you and your sweet bundle of joy! Big brother Bryor will most certainly enjoy a partner in crime or should I say a partner in play... racing monster trucks no doubt. I can just see all the wrestling matches, forts, and battle calls that will fill your home. No better sounds in the world. It still feels like I was just capturing Leah & Zach's wedding and then Bryor's newborn pictures. I love my job... another blessing... seeing the joy and excitement as couples grow a family and then add to that family. The excitement and anticipation is shared by all, I CAN NOT wait to meet your little man in September!
It's all about the details these days. They make each wedding personal and unique. The details in this wedding were so sweet, thoughtful, and carefully crafted. I always love seeing them come together after months (and in their case distance - sates away) of planning. They certainly didn't dissapoint. The bride created these beautiful origami balls to decorate the tables with (I immediatly knew I wanted to use them for a few ring pictures), her mother sewed her wedding dress hanger sleeve, and her grandmother sewed the ring pillow. Aren't they gorgeous?!? And don't get me started on the delicate gorgeous lace and tulle gown. Ooo La La!
Congrats Brian & Rebecca! It was a beautiful day that I adored being part of and celebrating alongside you both and your family and friends. Thank you for the honor and pleasure!
The happy couple is now off to France to celebrate again with her side of the family. Wishing you two a wonderful trip and a lifetime of happiness, you're a beautiful couple inside and out!
And just like that a whole year passed... this little cutie pie just turned ONE! It have the amazing pleasure to watch my littlest clients grow, thrive, and capture their little and big personalities shine. Emerson is such a sweet and easy going little man. He loves being tickled, being thrown up in the air, and also being sung to. We sang "the Wheels on the Bus" and Hudson happily joined in an let me know when I forgot a verse or two. Emerson immediately began to bop his little head, it was the cutest! Hudson loves her little brother and couldn't be any sweeter when it comes to giving him some snuggles and kisses. Sibling love is am amazing thing to watch and theirs is adorable! I can only hope that my kiddos enjoy a bond like theirs. Happy Birthday big guy! I hope you enjoyed a day filled with fun, family, and since you don't enjoy cake... lots of ice cream. :) <3
The day started off with snow and ended with an "I Do"! It was a magical day celebrating two sweet friends. Congratulations Wade & Hannah, you were an absolute joy to capture and celebrate with. Their love and excitement was felt by all! I'll admit, I'm not a big cryer, but there were a few moments that made me tear up. One being their "first look" and another when Hannah walked down the aisle to Wade, and their new life together. First looks are so wonderful and intimate and then the walk down the aisle is so powerful and moving.

Our little explorer is TWO! How is this even possible?!? I didn't think this year could go faster than her first, but it sure did. Somehow, I woke up to a toddler going on 15. It's always "I do it" and "no mommy". I am so NOT ready for this stage to be over. Snuggling her a little tighter today.
Vi loves to climb EVERYTHING and recently has even climbed out of her crib and into a toddler bed. It doesn't stop there, she can open her door, so I often am greeted with her climbing into our bed around 6:30am, or "mommy, wake up, I'm hungry". Takes after her momma, always ready for a meal/snack! ;)
Some of her favorite foods include any Italian dish, chocolate chip pancakes, sweet potatoes, popsicles (you gotta hear her say it though), shredded cheese, apple sauce, pretzels, cookies, eggs, cheese toasties, and Chocolate pudding "chocolate cake". Vi loves going on walks, exploring, reading in "mommy daddy bed", running from me in the store and putting things in the cart (aka shopping at Target), all animals (but especially dogs), bubbles, cooking, painting, watching Paw Patrol, Dory, and Moana. She even started singing and dancing, which is just awesome and so much fun! We can't seem to get in enough trips to the library, park, and zoo.
I could go on and on about my sweet, smart, gentle (most of the time), bossy, sassy, cuddly, ornery (as all get out) little girl. Vi, you are our world and have us wrapped around your finger. I'm pretty sure she knows that already! :) One look at her, with those emotional eyes and chubby cheeks, and I well up with love, pride, and tears of joy! It is an absolute honor to be your momma baby girl! <3
P.S. Is there anything cuter on little girls than denim and knee socks? Something about this classic look gets me every time! <3
Some weddings just take your breath away and this was certainly one of them. Corbin and Silvi, you are so sweet and adorable together! I was so happy to be a part of their wedding day and loved celebrating with them and their families. Thank you for welcoming me in like family you guys, it was a beautiful day and I wish you lifetime of wedded bliss! I can't wait to see where this wonderful life takes you two together, enjoy the adventure! <3

Read moreThere are just some weddings where you feel like part of the family and can't help but get caught up in the celebration, Mark and Jamie's was one of those weddings. Their romantic and intimate ceremony was held at Frank Fetch Park followed by a lovely veranda dinner at Lindy's, just a few short blocks away. Mark's father was the officiant and I couldn't help, but well up with tears myself. So much joy and love to be celebrated. They each have two girls that stood by their sides and one of the cutest flower girls ever! It was so much fun to get to see them as one big family on this new adventure. I am so very happy for you both and wish you all the best now and always. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Reed!
My sweet little climber is 19 months, almost twenty. We are in awe of her and she teaches me something new everyday. It has been such a joy to watch her grow, I often feel like the fast forward button is being pressed. We're trying very hard to soak in every snuggle, hug, kiss, and "wuv ooo" (in that cute little baby talk).
Right now, her favorite thing to do is climb... EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING. No fear this one, very independent and doesn't want my help unless she knows she needs it. Certainly doesn't share my fear of heights. She asks me everyday to go to the park and "swing" or "outside". She loves to kiss/hug our legs, play on our bed or in our cars, have tea parties, go to the park, swimming (undeniable pool baby), and watch minions.
If you told me she would be as polite as she is, I would have laughed at you, but she is. She says "thank you", "please", "sorry", "excuse me", and "bless you" when I sneeze. Although, she does laugh when saying "stinky", "yucky", and "grumpy" (cracks me up). Her big thing right now is to say "cute". She says is while shopping, holding a hanger with any piece of clothing on it, shoes and even doggie tails. :)
She makes my heart burst, just by looking at her or watching her discover new things. Next time I blink, she'll be two and I can hardly believe it. Never stop exploring my sweet girl. Mommy and Daddy love you to pieces! <3
Cuteness overload... that sweet little face and those little hands... I can't even! This handsome gentelman recently just celebrated turning one month old. So stinking cute, congratulations Eric and Miranda, he is absolutely precious! Leo was very curious as to what picture day was all about and I'm loving those baby blues, thanks for hanging with me little guy. Eric and Miranda, it was an honor and a pleasure to capture your family of three and thanks for letting me come over and snuggle your little man. Enjoy all the snuggles! <3
This gorgeous family had me grinning their whole session!. I always look forward to seeing them, catching up, and watching them just be them together. We go way back and I've had the honor and pleasure of capturing them since before they tied the knot. I've loved being able to capture many milestones for them and certainly have LOVED watching Hunter grow. The kid doesn't take a bad photo, seriously (well they all don't honestly). To say I adore this family is an understatement. You guys are beautiful people and a beautiful family, I'm so happy our paths crossed all those years ago! All the heart eyes!
Only a few more weeks to go! Jared and Alyssa await the arrival of their beautiful baby boy, due in May. Aren't they adorable?!? Congratulations you guys, you are going to be wonderful parents! I loved capturing your love for Jared Jr and can not wait to meet him and see him in those itty bitty Jordan's. So stinking cute!!! Turning one is a big deal and so is this little man, Happy First Birthday Jenson! I hope your first handful of cake was absolutely delicious. This cutie pie loves to knock down blocks, swing at the park, people watch (who doesn't) and listen to "yellow submarine". He had us working hard for a few smiles, but it was well worth it, don't you agree!?! Better yet, when he concentrates, he sticks out his tongue a little and I kinda love it! Jenson, you beautiful sweet boy you, it was a pleasure!
My how time flies, especially the first year of life. So many milestones and adventures to be had. I've had the honor and pleasure of capturing Luca through his first year and he has been a joy to work with (if you can even call it work). We had a blast exploring during his one year session. He loved touching the different textures, crawling up steps, walking towards momma, pointing out butterflies and fish, as well as playing with his shoes and icing painting. Happy First Birthday Luca! Slow down ok, because the big boy haircut and little Levi jeans have me a little teary eyed. Such a sweetie pie, gah! I look forward to watching him grown into the amazing little man he already is. In the planning stages, we were hoping for a little bit of snow flurries for their February wedding and mother nature sure didn't disappoint. So wonderfully romantic, don't you think?! Tis the season to be jolly and jolly we were! I mean just look at them, all cute and cozy together... I love this time of year.
